My Loves

I have been wanting to write on our blog for a while ( though I'm not much for expressing myself for those of you who know me) but this i could not keep to myself:) Being a new daddy and growing our family has been a great blessing. You can never really prepare yourself for what it will be like after a baby. It is the most beautiful, amazing, humbling, trying, learning experience of my life. I'm so grateful to the friends and family who have been through it and have given us all the help and reassurance you could ever ask for. It really does take a village to raise a baby.
It also takes an amazing mama:) I knew right when i met Jess, "she's the best person i could have asked for to love on my children." She really does inspire me and teach me with everything that she does for our family.
There's something about her and other moms that is just so indescribable. So much tenderness, patience, sacrifice, love, and really a giving up of everything at times for this sweet little life. Jess was worried about not being able to connect with a boy when we found out, but i kept telling her that boys always love their mommies best:)

Baby man, so much to say about him! It is hard to not see God in the whole process and creation of a life. I'm just speechless looking back at it all and seeing him growing everyday. I feel like he's bigger even when i just come home from work! I love to see him learning and developing in little ways here and there.
His laughter melts me and those big blue eyes! He's perfect. I can't wait to see the man he will become.

More to come from me in the future, thanks for reading

Greg
